FAQS

WHO WILL COACH MY CHILD?
At Easingwold Town FC we have junior teams ranging from U7 to U19 plus a development group for our U5's and U6's.
In line with FA requirements, all of our junior groups have a minimum of one coach with a FA level 1 qualification, DBS, FA Safeguarding and FA First Aid. To maintain good ratios for training sessions each group will have additional coaches who will hold a minimum of DBS and FA Safeguarding.
Coaches will often stay with the same age group, giving continuity and developing a strong team bond. When a coach does step down, we often find that one of the long-standing helpers will step forward allowing for a smooth transition.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED AS A PARENT or supporter?
We are always on the look out for extra volunteers, some of the ways you can be more involved are:
- Help at training sessions. This will involve an introductory meeting with the club chairman and/or junior secretary, having an FA DBS and completing the FA Safeguarding course.
- Offer to help with admin or money collecting for your child's age group. Coaches are all volunteers and often find themselves stretched when having to plan drills, sort match days etc. If you can help with even one job it will certainly lighten the load.
- Fundraising is essential for a community club such as ours. You could help raise funds by organising an event or seeking sponsorship.
- There are always jobs to be done around the clubhouse and grounds, if you have expertise that may be helpful please make yourself known.... for example, a dripping tap could be an expensive call out but someone at the club may have the knowledge to fix the problem.
- Most importantly, make yourself known.... if you want to help, we need to know!

What does it cost to join?
At Easingwold Town Football Club we believe in making our club accessible to all. With this in mind, we keep our fees to the affordable level of just £3 per training session. Seniors pay £5 per match and junior players, including U19, pay £4 per match.
There is also an annual Membership Fee. The Junior Membership Fee is £10 per season. Seniors, Veterans and Walking footballers pay £20 per season. The Membership Fee is capped at £20 per family, per season.
How do i join?
We require all junior players to have a completed Membership Form BEFORE attending their first session. This can be obtained by emailing: info@easingwoldtownfootballclub.com

What do i need to attend training sessions?
For each training session, participants should bring appropriate football attire, including a training kit, football boots, and shin pads. It's also important to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the session. For outdoor training, we recommend dressing according to the weather conditions, with layers for warmth during colder months. If you have additional equipment such as goalkeeper gloves or personal training aids, feel free to bring them as well. Our coaches will provide all necessary training materials and equipment required for the drills and exercises. It is important that players bring any medication they may require during the session.
Where and when do sessions take place?
As you can imagine, with age groups from U5 through to seniors it is impossible for everyone to train at the same time and in the same place. Each age group has a minimum of one training session per week throughout the season from September to April. The schedule shown is subject to change, so for information regarding specific age groups please get in touch.
Matches take place on Sundays, however, not all squad members will have a place in the 'match day squad'. This is due to league restrictions regarding the number of players that can be registered. In addition coaches may choose to register fewer players to allow for a balanced rotation of players on match days. 'Match day squads' will be selected based on the club's selection policy along with the coaches understanding of the player and team needs.
